Spotify and FC Barcelona Tap Travis Scott for Cactus Jack Collab and El Clásico Show

Spotify and FC Barcelona Collab

Since 2022, Spotify and FC Barcelona have united music and football through a groundbreaking partnership. Their latest collaboration brings Travis Scott into the fold, blending his Cactus Jack brand with the iconic FC Barcelona jersey. On May 11, during the high-stakes El Clásico, the men’s team will sport the blaugrana kit featuring the Cactus Jack logo. The FC Barcelona Feminí team will also wear this special jersey for their final match on May 18. This collaboration, crafted with one of today’s most influential artists, merges music, fashion, and football, showcasing Spotify’s dedication to connecting artists with fans.

Ahead of El Clásico, Spotify is hosting an exclusive Travis Scott concert in Barcelona on May 10, a first for the rap superstar in the city. The event, tailored for Travis’s top Spotify listeners, will feature fan-driven moments and immersive experiences, capturing the electric energy he brings to this partnership. Travis, with over 67 million monthly Spotify listeners and five tracks in the platform’s Billions Club, expressed his excitement: “El Clásico is a global moment. Partnering with Spotify and FC Barcelona lets me fuse my world with theirs, blending music and sport. Performing in Barcelona for my fans makes it even bigger.”

This marks Travis Scott as the latest artist to have his logo on the FC Barcelona jersey, following Coldplay, KAROL G, The Rolling Stones, ROSALÍA, and Drake. Spotify’s Vice President of Partnerships and Marketing, Marc Hazan, called it their most ambitious project yet, combining a global icon’s influence with the world’s biggest football match and a live performance. Only 1,899 limited-edition jerseys, inspired by FC Barcelona’s founding year, will be available for purchase at Barça Official Stores in Spain and online.

Beyond the jersey, Spotify and FC Barcelona have launched a Cactus Jack capsule collection with Travis Scott, featuring hoodies, a T-shirt, a retro jersey, a cap, shorts, a jacket, a scarf, and a retro football. Reflecting Travis’s distinct aesthetic, the collection extends the collaboration’s vibe off the pitch. FC Barcelona’s Jules Kounde praised the project, saying, “As a Travis fan and someone into style, this blend of football, fashion, and music is inspiring. Wearing the Cactus Jack jersey feels special.” Fans can shop the collection on TravisScott.com starting May 9.

FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta highlighted the collaboration’s impact, noting that the logo swap for El Clásico sparks conversations beyond sports, connecting the club with new global audiences. This partnership continues Spotify and FC Barcelona’s tradition of merging music and football through tours, artist features, and player collaborations.
