Spotify Supports NYC Community and 9/11 Memorial & Museum

Spotify Supports NYC Community

Every April, people gather in Lower Manhattan for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K to honor those lost on September 11, 2001, and celebrate the courage of first responders and recovery workers. The three-mile course mirrors their path to Ground Zero during and after that tragic day.

This year, Spotify, headquartered at 4 World Trade Center, joined the effort. We brought Peloton’s Ally Love to host, set up a DJ booth with DJ Love Language to energize runners at the start, and had teen DJ Annie Red play for families after the race. A photobooth and giveaways added to the fun.

“Spotify is honored to be part of this community at 4 World Trade Center. We’re committed to remembering this site’s history year-round,” said Dustee Jenkins, Spotify’s Chief Public Affairs Officer. “Supporting the 5K with vibrant activations inspires resilience and unity for all.”

Over 25 Spotify team members also ran or walked in the event.
